Spotify was founded out of Sweden in 2008 and has emerged as the number 1 music-streaming app for everyone. The app is freemium meaning you don’t have to upgrade unless you want to.
Spotify has not yet decided whether or not the company will go public. It is, however, looking increasingly likely that the company will go public next year ensuring advertising revenues grow ahead of its IPO.
