This game hopes to revive interest in Futurama for fan everywhere. The series hasn’t seen much original content in the past year, so Jam City could be sitting on a goldmine if Futurama succeeds.
Jam City is motivated by games like Cookie Jam, Panda Pop, and Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. Those games have over 50 million players a month, and have been downloaded more than 800 million times. Jam City has six of the top 100 highest-grossing games in the U.S. on iOS and Android. The company is targeting revenues of $450 million in 2017.
