YouTube Famous by any means possible. YouTuber dies in a stunt-gone-wrong.
Family members describe this as a YouTube stunt gone wrong, a 22-year-old man from Halstad, Minnesota is dead and his pregnant girlfriend is in jail. His death happened in front of their 3-year old child.
Around 6:30 p.m. Monday night, Ruiz’s girlfriend was instructed to shoot a book that he’d hold in front of his chest. Upon firing, the bullet struck through the book and entered Ruiz’s chest. Life-saving efforts were made and a medical helicopter was called, but 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ruiz’s girlfriend, 19-year-old Monalisa Perez, was booked into jail for reckless discharge of a firearm. She will be tried for involuntary manslaughter.

In their video, you see them talk about getting 300,000 YouTube subscribers and wanting to throw parties. With the younger YouTube generation becoming adults, maybe have dreamed of becoming famous on the video-streaming platform. Some of which are in desperate need of views and subscribers. The terrible incident recorded here is another example of what some people are willing to do for attention.
