Pentatonix is breaking up because a member announced he’s quitting FOREVER!

Avi Kaplan wrote, “If you haven’t yet watched the video then these words might come as a shock to you. If you have watched, know that this is exactly what I would have said in the video, if filming it wasn’t one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to do. This morning, I announced that I will be taking a step back from PTX.”

Pentatonix is a five-member American capella group which grew to fame due to their viral videos on YouTube. It hasn’t been confirmed if Avi Kaplan will be replaced with a new bass singer.  Of course, this will stir more drama within the beloved band.  Will more members break-away from the group and take solo-careers?

Pentatonix still has upcoming tours leading up to September 3rd, 2017.  Avi Kaplan is expected to perform for these shows.  After the tour is finished, he will be departing from the group entirely.

One thing is for certain, fans of Pentatonix will surely miss the group.
